Job description:

Geotest are seeking a CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR with experience within the Geomembrane industry or Building and Construction industry to join and support our team.

This is a casual position, with the opportunity for the right person to transition to a full-time role dependent on job performance and business needs.

Immediate start available to the right candidate.

$50ph + super to the right applicant.

While the position is based in South Australia, you will be required to travel and work locally and interstate.

Qualifications & Licences:

- Proven experience in the Construction Industry is a requirement, minimum 3 years' experience

- Valid Australian Drivers Licence

- Manual driving experience

- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)

- Full Rights to Work within Australia

Requirements:

- Proven performance in coordinating and meeting programmed objectives and financial targets

- The right to live and work within Australia

- Willingness to travel and work outside of South Australia on request and stay in Motel or camp style accommodation as needed

We are looking for candidates able to:

- Lead and coordinate a team

- Demonstrate good organisation, and time-management

- Plan and scope activities with efficiency and to budget

- Resource and source tools and equipment





- Make operational decisions

- Understand construction methodologies and procedures

- Take ownership and responsibility for project activities

- Monitor and demonstrate compliance to safety procedures

- Solve problems and respond to delays and emergencies

- Comply with legal requirements

- Confidently operate a computer and use Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

- Prepare and review designs, technical reports, drawings and technical specifications

- Manage cost control and pricing schedules

- Meet deadlines and report work progress

- Update Work in Progress spreadsheets

- Communicate with our clients in a professional manner - both verbal and written

- Identify and develop further business opportunities
