$50- $64 base rate per hour, with additional attractive nightshift & overtime rates

Mtec Mechanical Services are currently seeking qualified & motivated Mechanical & Auto Electrical Tradespeople to join our busy mining asset overhaul team.

- Rutherford workshop based roles, reduce your travel time up and down the valley

- 9-day fortnight rotating roster. Mon to Fri dayshift then Mon to Thurs nightshift

- Brand new custom-built mining equipment overhaul workshop facility

- Plant mechanic positions supporting mining equipment overhauls in a new custom built workshop, Caterpillar & Komatsu haul truck overhauls, & ancillary asset rebuilds & component overhauls.

- Weekday based roster -no rostered weekends, offsite workshop location

About You

- Mechanical & Electric Drive Haul truck overhaul experience highly regarded

- Previous ancillary mining equipment overhaul experience desirable

- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, & a high level of quality workmanship

- Ability to adhere to protected work practices, policies and procedures

- Australian recognised Mechanical Trade certificate (Mobile Plant desirable)

- NSW Certificate of Proficiency

- Must be eligible to work in Australia with no restrictions

- Current Australian Drivers License & own reliable transport essential

- Proven reliability with punctuality and attendance

- Ability to pass or have a current Order 45 Coal Board Medical

- Willingness to assist on site with asset demobilisation and return to work scopes

- Sound communication and interpersonal skills

- MDG25, WSAH, Glencore Generic Inductions highly regarded

- HRWL Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, C6, Confined Space licenses advantageous.
