Apserou Shiaka & Co is an accounting, audit and tax advisory firm that provides services to both local and international clients. The owners of the firm are Chartered Certified Accountants.

Our firm is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant for offices in Nicosia for full time employment.

Duties And Responsibilities

Prepare and process financial statements under IFRSExamine, analyse and reconcile financial records and documentation, including but not limited to bank statements, dividends, budgets, loans, payroll transactions, reconciliations of debtors and creditors and othersPrepare the audit file to support auditors in conducting audits efficiently and in accordance with auditing standardsEnsure the permanent file of the client is updated with the required informationPrepare and file tax returns (eg IR1 IR4 IR7 IR603 IR614)



ensuring timely and accurate submissions in line with relevant tax lawsEnsure compliance with tax and government regulationsEnsure work is prepared in accordance with the firm’s policies and standards

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldACCA Completed or in progress

Skills And Experience

Case ware knowledgeExcellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English languageDynamic with high levels of commitment and ability to take initiativeProfessional conductGood IT skills
