Balco is one of Australia’s leading processors and exporters of hay/straw, with a network of loyal growers and an expanding overseas market.

We are seeking a Field Inspector to join our field team in Balaklava. Reporting to the Field Account Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for collecting hay samples and liaising with growers mainly around the Mid North of South Australia.

To be successful in this role you will need

- A valuable work ethic

- Excellent time management

- Sound communication skills

- Good attention to detail

- Current drivers license

Knowledge of farming practices (cropping/hay production) would be an advantage.

You will need to be able to work extended hours during peak period. Weekend work will be required.



This role will also require you to provide your own comprehensively insured diesel 4WD vehicle/ute. A generous allowance will be paid on a per kilometre basis.

Available to start mid to late September through to January 2026.
