About the role

Ozora Plumbing & Gas is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable plumbing and gas company based in Wingfield, SA 5013. As a Plumber, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality plumbing services to residential and commercial clients across the region. This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects, utilise your technical expertise, and contribute to the success of a well-established business in the trades and services sector.

What you'll be doing

1. Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial properties

2. Diagnose plumbing problems and provide effective solutions to customers

3. Perform emergency repairs and respond to urgent plumbing issues in a timely manner

4. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems

5. Read and interpret plumbing blueprints and technical drawings

6. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards

7. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice

8. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

9. Complete job documentation and maintain accurate records of work completed

10. Collaborate with team members and support colleagues on larger projects as needed

What we're looking for

1. A current plumbing licence or equivalent qualification recognised in South Australia

2. Proven experience working as a plumber in residential and/or commercial environments

3. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and industry best practices

4. Proficiency in using standard plumbing tools and equipment

5. Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations

Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude

7. Strong communication and customer service skills

8. Reliability and the ability to manage time effectively across multiple jobs

9. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various job sites

10. Physical fitness and capability to perform manual work and carry equipment
