Turon Gates is an eco-retreat located 3 hours from Sydney on the way to Mudgee.

We are looking for a couple to live on site in a contemporary 2 bedroom cottage with a garden and yard and a large cellar/bunker. All utilities, phone and internet are provided along with a $20K salary.

In return we ask that you be on call 3 days a week to take care of basic caretaking tasks in the managers absence.

Tasks would include:

*Selling firewood, wine and activities.

*Checking the camp ground each afternoon.

*Helping guests that need information.

*Occasionally helping if a fuse or bulb is blown, a customer can't light their fire or a generator need starting.

This is a low energy roll more suited to people looking toward retirement or people that have an additional income stream online.

There is also additional work for additional pay available based on your skillsets such as reservations, maintenance tasks, carpentry, horseriding lead, cleaning etc...

You will be expected to be available 3 full days a week. Sometimes weekends, sometimes during the week. The remainder of your time is your own.
