Lead a Growing Parts Sales & Service Exchange Division

Morgan Engineering is a leading engineering company servicing the mining, and heavy industry sectors. Based in Singleton and Gunnedah, NSW, we specialise in heavy component rebuilds, manufacturing, machining and technical parts support for customers across Australia.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Parts Sales Customer Support Manager to lead our Parts Sales & Service Exchange division.

Whether you're currently a Parts Manager, Senior Parts Interpreter, Maintenance Planner, Customer Support Manager or Sales Specialist with previous experience in Mining equipment parts sales and business development we would love to hear from you.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Parts Sales while delivering outstanding customer service and technical support.

You'll play a key role in growing our Parts Sales & Service Exchange division by building solid customer relationships, improving processes and working closely with our manufacturing and component rebuild teams.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing technical parts advice and customer support via phone and email
- Interpreting customer requirements and identifying the correct components
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
- Building long-term relationships with customers and identifying new sales opportunities
- Coordinating with Production, Workshop and Engineering teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining efficient stock control
- Using Epicor ERP to manage sales orders,



inventory and customer information
- Driving continuous improvement across the Parts Department

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers and has a genuine passion for heavy equipment.

Ideally you'll have:

- Experience in Parts Management, Parts Interpretation, Sales Specialist or Technical Customer Support
- Experience within the mining, heavy equipment, manufacturing or engineering industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and understand heavy equipment components
- Previous sales and customer support experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and computer skills
- Experience using an ERP system (Epicor, M1 or similar highly regarded)
- A proactive attitude with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement

Highly Desirable

- Mechanical Trade Qualification (Fitter & Machinist, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar)
- Experience with component rebuilds or Service Exchange programs
