Help Create Meaningful Mealtimes for Our Residents

Location: Ballina, NSW
Position: Part time | 20+ hours per week

At Cater Care, we believe a great meal can make someone's day. We're looking for a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at an aged care residence in Ballina, helping deliver fresh meals and a positive dining experience for our residents.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with preparing meals, salads, sandwiches and texture-modified foods
- Serve meals and snacks with friendly, resident-focused customer service
- Support kitchen operations through dishwashing, cleaning and maintaining a safe workspace
- Replenish stock and assist with meal service and dining room set-up




- Work closely with the Chef and wider team to deliver quality service

Skills and Experiences:
About You

- Has experience in hospitality, food preparation or customer service
- Enjoys working in a busy, team-focused environment
- Understands food safety and hygiene practices
- Takes pride in delivering quality service
- Has aged care experience (preferred)

What You'll Need

To meet aged care requirements, successful applicants will be required to:

- Hold a current annual flu vaccination
- Complete a National Criminal History Check
