As Human Resources Officer, you'll be at the centre of everything people-related from recruitment and onboarding through to HR systems, employee records, reporting and supporting managers across the organisation. You'll also play an key role as Council embarks on implementing a new digital HR management system, helping modernise the way HR services are delivered.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR qualified looking to grow their career. You'll be involved in:Coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboardingMaintaining HR records and ensuring HRIS data integrityPreparing employment contracts and HR correspondenceCoordinating learning and development activitiesSupporting managers with HR policies and Award interpretationAssisting with workforce reporting and HR administrationHelping implement Council's new digital HR management system while supporting existing processes.
What We're Looking ForExperience across recruitment and HR administrationConfidence working with HR systems and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsA proactive approach and a genuine desire to improve processesThe ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
