The Prospect

Based in our Perth Head Office, this role sits at the centre of our new business strategy - leading the front-end of projects and positioning Built to secure and deliver high-quality work. You’ll partner closely with estimating, design and delivery teams, as well as clients and consultants, to shape how projects come to life from day one.

In this role, you will:

- Lead end-to-end tendering and pre-construction activities, ensuring projects are commercially sound and strategically aligned
- Develop winning bid strategies, working closely with estimating teams to refine pricing and improve competitiveness
- Engage directly with clients, consultants and stakeholders to build relationships, shape solutions and secure new opportunities
- Identify risks early and implement smart construction methodologies to strengthen project viability and delivery outcomes
- Contribute to commercial strategies, including value engineering and contract negotiations, to achieve the best project outcomes

What we are looking for

We're looking for someone with strong construction knowledge, commercial thinking and the ability to bring people together around a clear project strategy.

You may already have experience in pre-construction, estimating or work-winning, or you may bring transferable skills from project delivery, design management, services, commercial management or site leadership.

Experience that could support your success in this role includes:

- Experience in estimating, project delivery, design management, services, commercial management, tendering or construction leadership.
- A strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, risk, pricing or commercial decision-making.
- The ability to coordinate input from multiple stakeholders and bring structure to complex project opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams.
- Commercial awareness, sound judgement and a practical solutions-focused approach.
- An interest in further developing your capability across pre-construction, work-winning and front-end project strategy.
