About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, community-minded Bus Driver to join our Melton team. This casual position offers 26 hours per week with consistent Monday to Friday school services, making it an ideal role for someone looking for predictable hours and an excellent work-life balance.
Typical Hours
This is a casual position offering approximately 26 hours per week during the school term, with a regular Monday to Friday roster.
Monday & Friday
- 7:00am – 9:00am – School Run
- 2:40pm – 4:40pm – School Run
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
- 7:00am – 9:00am – School Run
- 2:40pm – 4:40pm – School Run
- 4:30pm – 6:35pm – Late Bus Service
This role provides consistent weekday work with school-friendly hours and no weekend shifts.
As a Bus Driver, you’ll safely transport students to and from school while providing outstanding customer service. You’ll play an significant role in supporting local families and ensuring every journey is safe, reliable and enjoyable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely transport students on scheduled school services.
- Operate services in accordance with company procedures and road laws.
- Complete daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented bus.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to students, parents, schools and the community.
- Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with the Operations team.
