Beth’s Bakery is an exciting new venture, that opened early 2026 at the Baillie Hill hospitality development in East Victoria Park. We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef who has a passion for creating both classic and contemporary pastry creations, from perfectly laminated croissants to show-stopping entremets and tarts.

The Role

As our Pastry Chef, you’ll be the driving force behind all things sweet at Beth’s. You’ll be responsible for executing a variety of pastry doughs, lamination techniques, and creating delicate desserts, including choux pastry, pâtisserie, and rustic artisan pastries. A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of ingredients and their interactions will be key to achieving the consistency and quality we expect.

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours and no night shifts, giving you the freedom to enjoy a balanced work-life routine while doing what you love.

What We’re Looking For:





- A skilled Pastry Chef with expertise in laminated doughs this is an essential skill for this role.

- Solid experience with both sweet and savoury pastries, from viennoiserie to entremets

- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, including temperature control, proofing, and decorative finishing techniques

- Creative flair with a love for experimenting with seasonal ingredients, flavour combinations, and textures

- Punctual, reliable, and a team-oriented professional

- Previous experience in a high-quality pastry environment is preferred
