Operations Team Member

Due to our continuing company expansion, we need a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a "Manufacturing Team Member." Supporting the manufacturing and warehousing department. As our industry experiences growth and our manufacturing expands, further advancements within the company are likely.

The position requires a versatile skill set, including, self-motivation, machinery operation, and proactive problem-solving.

Reporting to both the Operations Manager and Business Manager, the key responsibilities of this position are as follows:

- Assist with the manufacturing of Industrial Coatings

- Aid in managing receipt of raw materials, inventory, returns and stock take

- Develop understanding and operation of machinery and equipment

- Assist with the picking and packing of orders and inventory

The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and assisting with the manufacturing and dispatching of goods from our warehouse. Although training will be provided initially, you will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of our product manufacturing process and warehouse procedures. You will work alongside a small team of enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our customers. To succeed in this role, you must possess

- Well developed written skills.

- Understanding of factory procedures and dispatch.

- Confidence in dealing with customers and staff.

- Ability and knowledge to use various power tools.

- Skilled with hands.

- Disciplined approach and willingness to learn current skills.

- A valid "A" class driver's license and forklift certification are required.

- Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a production environment.

Having prior experience in manufacturing and filling industrial coatings is an advantage. Additionally, possessing knowledge of ERP platforms or purchasing and inventory management platforms would be advantageous.
