- Lead all engineering operations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency

- Oversee maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plant systems

- Implement and manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs

- Lead capital expenditure planning, asset lifecycle management, and major projects

- Drive energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and utility cost management

- Ensure full compliance with Australian WHS legislation and IHG standards

- Lead internal and external audits, compliance programs, and corrective actions

- Oversee fire and life safety systems and critical infrastructure compliance

- Investigate incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing improvements

- Manage contractor onboarding, compliance, and performance standards

- Oversee high-risk work activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols

- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies

- Support emergency response planning and business continuity processes

- Develop, lead,



and coach a high-performing engineering team

- Partner with senior leaders to drive a solid safety culture and operational excellence

What we need from you

- Significant experience in engineering leadership within a hotel, hospitality, or large facility environment

- Strong technical expertise in HVAC, building systems, and plant operations

- Proven experience in WHS leadership, audits, and regulatory compliance

- Demonstrated success managing teams, contractors, and capital projects

- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and regulatory requirements

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
