Role Details
The Principal Policy Officer plays a key role in advancing the Authority's strategic objectives by providing policy leadership, analysis and advice on complex issues affecting recreational fishing in South Australia. The role contributes to the development of evidence-informed policy, supports government decision-making and helps shape reforms that deliver long-term advantages for the community, industry and the State. Working collaboratively across government and with a diverse range of stakeholders, the role fosters effective partnerships, facilitates informed discussion on complex issues and contributes to a coordinated approach to policy development, implementation and evaluation.
Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
- Security Clearance (including Baseline, Negative Vetting Level 1, Negative Vetting Level 2, Positive Vetting)
