Leading Hand or Foreman required for a 8 month contract role to commence on a industrial project in regional NSW.

Our client has been established in regional NSW for over 30 years covering public and private sector projects up to $100m in value.

They are one of the busiest and most stable companies in the region and are a well-respected business that is a consistent awarded winner for their projects and for one of the best places to work.

We are currently looking for an experienced Leading Hand/Foreman for a contract chance at one of the rail stations upgrade projects in regional NSW.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced leading hand or foreman with the following experience:

Skills & Experience:

- Newbuild & Refurbishment project experience
- Trade background in Carpentry
- Preferably head contractor experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills




- Ability to read and interpret detailed site plans/drawings
- Strong ability to build relationships and liaise with externals
- Public sector project experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Interpreting and reading plans
- Manage Site Safety / OH&S;
- Coordinate trades and subcontractors
- Liaise with the client
- Assist in managing the construction programming
- Reporting to the Site Manager on a weekly basis
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
