As the Assistant Educator (Cert III Qualified), you will assist the ECT / Lead Educators to implement educational experiences and day‑to‑day operations in the room.

Duties

- Build positive relationships through respectful and meaningful interactions with children, staff, and families.
- Provide adequate supervision for children in various learning experiences.
- Assist ECT / Lead Educator to conduct observations for the children.
- Assist ECT / Lead Educator to set up learning spaces or experiences.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating positive behaviour and language.

Qualifications

- Hold a Cert III in ECEC.
- Hold a current First Aid Qualification (Early Childhood specific).
- Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service (Preferable).
- Hold the WWVP card.
- Be familiar with the EYLF and NQF guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive, caring attitude and willingness to improve.
- Skilled presentation.
