We’re looking for a Planning Assistant who is passionate about stock management and merchandising, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Success in this role requires experience in a high SKU count category, strong stock management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, agility, and a proactive approach are essential.
Key Deliverables
Stock Management
- Place & check replenishment order proposals and approve orders within the agreed timeline
- Manage stock allocations to achieve highest level of stockturn
- Ensure store baseline and promotional forecast accuracy
- Liaise with suppliers on stock and product availability and resolve any supply issues
Analysis And Reporting
- Review replenishment against sales performance and maintain stock levels accordingly
- Evaluate supplier performance in relation to supply and delivery in full - DIFOT
Foster Working Relationships With Suppliers
- Maintain accuracy of supplier stock forecasts
- Evaluate supplier performance in relation to supply and delivery
Store Support
- Analyse store performance and monitor store inventory levels to ensure all financials measures are achieved
