Home Care Worker – Casual – Bowral region

As a valued Home Care Worker at Anglicare, you will provide compassionate, high‑quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity. You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship to ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.

Your Responsibilities

- Domestic assistance: washing, ironing, vacuuming, dusting, and other household chores.
- Meal preparation: planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
- Personal care support: assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
- Social engagement: providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
- Transport services: offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

Your Qualities

You are a kind‑hearted, patient, and respectful person who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people and shares Anglicare’s values of integrity, justice, compassion, and excellence.

Essential Requirements

- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
- Reliable NSW C Class motor vehicle for travel between customer locations
- Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID‑19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
- Basic computer and smartphone literacy

Desirable Qualifications





- Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
