We’re partnering with a leading Australian organisation to secure an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer for an initial contract role supporting a large-scale enterprise transformation. This role will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimising Salesforce solutions across a complex, multi-cloud setting, driving automation, scalability, and improved customer experiences.

The role
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Lead the development of custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce where required.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
- Support data migration, data modelling, and data integrity initiatives across the platform.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to capability uplift within the wider team.
- Ensure solutions align with security, governance, and platform best practices.

Skills & experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer in enterprise environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration.
- Proven experience across core Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience).
- Experience with integrations using APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, and security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar is highly desirable.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) are highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Full Working Rights in Australia and being based in Melbourne are required.
