Our client, a leading global fintech and online trading firm, is seeking an experienced FIX API Specialist for a short‑term engagement to strengthen their FIX connectivity and support an upcoming handover to internal teams. This role is ideal for someone based in APAC who can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct a full assessment and gap analysis of the current server‑side FIX setup
- Identify and document issues; deliver a concise FIX Assessment Report
- Resolve critical FIX problems and validate fixes through structured testing
- Update FIX specifications and create a Troubleshooting Playbook
- (Optional) Provide internal training and deliver a clear handover document

Ideal Background

- 5‑10+ years of deep FIX protocol experience (session management, message flows, troubleshooting)
- Solid server‑side or exchange‑side FIX integration background
- Crypto exchange experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to deliver rapid, high‑quality documentation under tight timelines
