The Role: We’re looking for a Lead Data Consultant to drive complex data migration initiatives within the banking sector. This is a role in a high-impact transformation program, requiring both technical expertise and strategic insight. You’ll be deeply involved in solution design and hands-on delivery, while also guiding clients on best practices, migration roadmaps, and risk mitigation strategies. Your ability to translate intricate technical concepts into transparent, board-level communication will be a key differentiator.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead data migration planning and execution across large-scale banking platforms (core systems, reporting layers, regulatory datasets, etc.).
- Engage directly with senior business and technical stakeholders to define migration scope, approach, and success criteria.
- Analyze existing data landscapes and develop fit-for-purpose migration strategies , aligned to business risk appetite and timelines.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and PMs to ensure seamless migration delivery across multiple phases.




- Serve as the trusted advisor to clients guiding them through critical decision points on tooling, sequencing, validation, and cutover.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and remediation strategies across the migration lifecycle.
- Prepare and present clear, concise migration plans and status updates to executive audiences.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, privacy, and data governance frameworks.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven track record delivering end-to-end data migrations in banking or financial services.
- Deep familiarity with data structures, ETL tools, cleansing/validation , and cutover strategies.
- Strong capability in stakeholder management across business, operations, and IT.
- Experience working in consulting-style environments or internal transformation teams.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and executive-level communication skills .
