Role Summary

The Azure Solution Architect – Digital Workspace (M365) is responsible for end‑to‑end architecture, design, and delivery of Microsoft Azure cloud solutions together with Digital Workspace / Microsoft 365 services including identity, collaboration, endpoint management, security, and modern workplace transformation. This role works onsite with business and IT stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud and workplace solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead architecture, design, and technical ownership of Microsoft Azure solutions across compute, storage, networking, identity, security, governance, and hybrid cloud.
- Design and architect Digital Workspace / Microsoft 365 solutions including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and endpoint management.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise, cloud, and workplace architecture standards.
- Define integration patterns across Azure services, Microsoft 365 workloads, third‑party SaaS platforms, and on‑premises environments.
- Create architecture artifacts including solution blueprints, migration strategies, security models, governance standards, and design documentation.

Delivery & Implementation

- Oversee and guide implementation of Azure landing zones, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and Microsoft 365 workplace transformation programs.
- Ensure best practices around security, performance, scalability, availability, compliance, and cost optimization.




- Support tenant migrations, endpoint modernization, identity transformation, testing strategy, deployment planning, and production readiness.
- Act as the technical authority during onsite delivery, workshops, architecture reviews, and governance forums.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

- Work closely with business leaders, workplace teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, and delivery partners during onsite engagements.
- Facilitate cloud strategy sessions, workplace transformation workshops, architecture reviews, and executive‑level discussions.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with Microsoft, customer stakeholders, and implementation partners when required.

Governance & Best Practices

- Establish and enforce Azure and Microsoft 365 governance standards for identity, security, compliance, device management, networking, and cloud operations.
- Mentor engineers, consultants, and technical leads on Azure architecture, Microsoft 365 best practices, and modern workplace design patterns.
- Contribute reusable assets, reference architectures, migration frameworks, and delivery accelerators.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

- 8–10 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise solution architecture.




- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure across infrastructure, platform, networking, identity, security, and governance services.
- Proven experience delivering Azure cloud transformation and migration programs, preferably in onsite or consulting environments.
- Experience designing and implementing Digital Workspace / Microsoft 365 solutions for collaboration, endpoint management, identity, and workplace modernization.

Technical Skills

- Identity and security services including Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview.
- Microsoft 365 / Digital Workspace services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint security.
- Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps practices using ARM / Bicep / Terraform, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of hybrid identity, migration strategies, Zero Trust security, compliance, business continuity, and cost governance.

Professional Skills

- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences.
- Leadership skills to guide cross‑functional onsite teams.
