The Opportunity

We are seeking a Finance Special Projects Analyst to play a key role in delivering major, cross‑functional initiatives across the organisation. This high‑visibility role suits a commercially minded finance professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, systems and operational execution.

Reporting to the Accounting Systems Manager, you will provide advanced financial analysis, modelling and decision support, while acting as a key finance systems user supporting enhancements, data integrity and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver financial modelling, scenario analysis and full‑lifecycle support for strategic projects.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Identify and manage financial,



operational and compliance risks, ensuring strong governance and controls.
- Produce clear, insightful reporting and translate complex financial data for senior and non‑financial stakeholders.
- Support finance systems maintenance, upgrades and implementations, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.

About You

You are a commercially focused finance professional with strong technical capability and the confidence to influence outcomes. You bring:

- Degree in Accounting with CPA or CA qualification.
- Robust financial modelling, analysis and forecasting skills.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office capability.
- Experience supporting finance systems, projects or process improvements.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution‑focused approach.

Experience within large, complex organisations and exposure to enterprise finance systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365) will be highly regarded.
