We represent a leading boutique commercial, property, and construction law firm.

The firm offers a relaxed environment where lawyers are afforded a good amount of client engagement.

Litigation

The Litigation team services a range of clients including property developers, building companies, individual lot owners and local government entities.

Their wide-ranging practice is involved in projects that sit within the $5 to $20 million range, and they often deal with a project from conception to execution through to on-sale and leasing. During the lifecycle of the projects and often separately to the relevant project, their clients require assistance with disputes, meaning the Litigation team is called in to assist.

Position Description

As an upshot of growth, the Litigation team are now looking for an additional resource at the lawyer level (2-4 years' PAE).

You will work most closely with a senior partner on a range of litigated matters including commercial (e.g. contractual, partnership, trust and debt recovery) disputes, construction related disputes,



strata disputes, and government prosecutions.

It is expected that you will have had exposure in all that is required in a litigated matter including:

- a positive understanding of the procedure and court/tribunal process
- good analytical skills
- the ability to manage the court diary
- the ability to appear in court.

On offer is exposure to a range of tribunals and courts, from NCAT and Local Court, to the Supreme Court.

Requirements

You will have 2-4 years solid litigation experience and an interest in working with clients in the property, construction, strata and government sectors.

In addition, you will have:

- A keen interest in dealing with clients
- A proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
