Job Description

The role: Cater Care Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plumber to be part of our newly contracted site team based in Northern Territory. This is a fly in fly out role from Adelaide on a 8 day on 8 day off roster.

What This Role Involves

- Consistent delivery of all plumbing maintenance services as per the scope of work.
- Installation, repair and general maintenance of systems and components, fixtures and other plumbing used for water and sewer distribution.
- Maintenance and plumbing repairs on site.
- Plumbing maintenance of rooms and offices.
- Preventive plumbing maintenance schedules.
- Complying with all OH&S; policies and procedures.

Desired Skills & Experience

The Ideal Applicant Will Have:

- Previous experience within the fields activities relating to plumbing.
- Experience in a hospitality setting or similar remote environment is highly regarded.




- Ability to work well with other team members.
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks.
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene.
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather.

Mandatory Requirements

- Current NT Plumbing License.
- Current Contractors License - highly regarded.
- Qualifications or experience in Water and Sewerage Plant Operation - highly regarded.
- Backflow qualifications - highly regarded.
- Drivers’ License is essential whilst Forklift Licenses are highly desirable.
