About your new Role!

You'll be a key member of the finance team, taking ownership of financial reporting, balance sheet integrity and month-end activities while partnering closely with both finance and operational stakeholders.

This is not a role for someone who enjoys staying in one lane. You'll thrive if you are a well-rounded accountant who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, solving problems and getting involved wherever needed.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Preparation of month-end journals and ownership of the month-end close process
- End-to-end balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, provisions and intercompany eliminations
- Group bank reconciliations and fixed asset accounting
- Treasury management, payment runs and cash flow support across local and international operations
- Supporting external audits, statutory reporting and compliance requirements
- Lease accounting and working capital management
- Providing guidance and oversight to both onshore and offshore AP & AR teams
- Supporting ERP and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies
- Partnering with operational teams, procurement and FP&A; to deliver meaningful financial insights




- Assisting with reporting across multiple Australian and international entities

About You!

To be successful, you'll be a confident and adaptable Senior Financial Accountant who enjoys working across a broad range of responsibilities rather than specialising in one area.

You Will Bring

- CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion)
- 3-5+ years' experience within a multi-entity or complex accounting environment
- Strong financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation and month-end expertise
- Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations
- Experience supporting an operational or project-based business will be highly regarded but not essential
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across all levels of the business
- A resilient, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to manage competing priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment
