12 month fixed-term contract initially, hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home). $110-125k base plus super, plus NFP salary packaging.

A large transformation program in Sydney's North-West is consolidating payroll, workforce management and HCM onto a single platform, with 10+ downstream integrations and 4/5 active workstreams. The program is now in full delivery with a team of 10 and established governance, cadence and structure.

The Program Manager needs a Program Coordinator to run the engine room.

The role

Around half of this role is core coordination: scheduling meetings and workshops, taking accurate minutes, tracking actions and chasing them to closure, preparing governance packs and SteerCo papers. If that sounds beneath you, this is not your role. If you take pride in doing it properly, read on.

The other half is where it gets more interesting. Project financials and forecasting are a significant part of the job, so you need to be comfortable owning budget tracking, actuals versus forecast and variance reporting at program level.



You will also be expected to solve problems, not just log them. When something is slipping or two streams are pulling against each other, the Program Manager wants someone who works the resolution rather than escalating everything upwards.

What you'll bring

- Genuine program or project coordination depth on complex, multi-stream technology programs. Evidenced in what you actually did, not a skills list.
- Solid project financials capability. Budget tracking, forecasting, accruals, variance analysis.
- The ability to manage yourself. The structure exists, the direction is clear, and nobody will be standing over you.
- Familiarity with HCM, payroll or workforce management programs is a real advantage. You need to understand the lingo to capture what matters.
- Availability for the full contract term and the ability to work from the office in Sydney's North-West 3 days a week.
