Pay: $32.00–$40.00 per hour
Hours: 3–5 days per week (approximately 24–38 hours)

We are seeking a caring and motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly, family-focused general practice in Punchbowl on a temporary 6-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse or someone looking to develop their career in general practice within a supportive and collaborative team.
There is potential for ongoing employment beyond the contract, depending on practice requirements.
About the Role
Working alongside our GPs, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a broad range of general practice services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Triage and nursing assessments using evidence-based guidelines
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care within the Registered Nurse scope of practice
- Child and adult immunisations, wound care, ECGs and spirometry
- Chronic disease management, including GP Management Plans (GPMPs), Team Care Arrangements (TCAs), and Cycle of Care activities
- Patient education and health promotion
- Assisting GPs with minor procedures
- Supervising and supporting Enrolled Nurses within the practice
- Managing patient reminder and recall systems
- Providing culturally safe, respectful and person-centred care
About YouEssential
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in primary healthcare and community nursing
- Current Working with Children Check
Desirable
- Previous experience in general practice or primary care (training provided if required)
- Completion of an authorised immunisation course
