As an Accounts Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on accounting experience by working across a wide range of businesses under one organization, providing exposure to diverse accounting processes and financial operations.

Your Role

- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries and reconcile bank and ledger accounts.
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursement records, where required.
- Verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documentation.
- Assist in GST/VAT/tax-related record keeping and compliance activities (where applicable).
- Support the finance team during month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with internal audits and financial reconciliations.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager or Finance Team.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
