We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing finance team. This role is critical in managing the company’s receivables position, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate reporting and allocation of receivables across the business.

You will play a hands-on role in engaging with customers, supporting internal stakeholders, and driving strong cash flow outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

- Proactively contact customers via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices
- Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Administer and update a structured receivables tracking spreadsheet, categorising debts into actionable segments
- Allocate receivables to the appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Investigate and resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments




- Reconcile accounts and follow up discrepancies
- Provide regular reporting on aged receivables, collection performance, and risk areas
- Support continuous improvement of receivables processes and systems

What You Bring:

- 1–3 years experience in accounts receivable or similar finance role
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication skills with confidence in making outbound collection calls
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (experience managing tracking spreadsheets essential)
- Systems-savvy (Xero, MYOB, NetSuite or similar is desirable)
