Waverley Council is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Revenue Team

The Role In this role, you will:

- Manager Council’s debtor functions, including the timely raising of invoices, recovery of outstanding debts, and analysis of overdue accounts to support debt recovery actions
- Support Council’s revenue operations and ensuring accurate financial management
- Support the Revenue Team with financial administration and reporting activities

What you’ll bring

- TAFE Diploma in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills in resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
- Demonstrated knowledge in revenue collection.
- Knowledge of Word and Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
- A positive attitude and ability to learn new things quickly.
- Demonstrated experience in data entry with a proven ability to accurately process transactions.
- Sound mathematical and problem-solving skill
