Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Gloucester & Mid North Coast NSW Full-time, permanent · Relocation support · Bonus structure available A role for a clinician who’s ready for more - more autonomy, more clinical breadth, and a genuine path forward.
At Kinetic Medicine, we’re an Exercise Physiology–led allied health practice operating across regional NSW. We exist to put Accredited Exercise Physiologists at the centre of health and disability care, not at the edges of it. If you’ve got real clinical skill and you’re ready to use it with more independence and a wider scope than your current role allows, this is worth a look.
We’re recruiting an AEP to be based in our Gloucester clinic, with work across our Taree and Forster sites. This is a full-time, permanent position - certainty you can plan a life around.
What’s on the table
- A full-time, permanent role - not a “maybe,” not casual hours. If you’re weighing a move or a career step, you can do it with confidence.
- Industry leading remuneration - with where you land in the band reflecting your experience, and potential for additional incentives based on performance,
- Relocation support - if you’re considering a move to the region, we’re happy to talk through what that looks like and help make it tailored to your needs.
- Real clinical breadth - pain and mental health (including workplace rehabilitation), exercise oncology, cardiac and respiratory care, complex musculoskeletal and disability presentations. You won’t be doing the same three referral types on repeat.
- A genuine progression path - we’re a growth-minded practice, and we’d rather develop leaders internally than recruit them in. There’s room to grow into clinical or leadership responsibility and we've got the track record to prove it.
Who we’re looking for
- An ESSA-registered AEP. Two or more years’ experience suits the role well, though we’ll consider strong candidates across experience levels.
- A clinician who wants ownership of their caseload and the resources to manage it well, with full admin support and clinical supervision.
- Someone with robust communication skills, a collaborative approach, and real commitment to patient-centred care.
- A practitioner comfortable with technology and innovation, and keen to help shape how modern allied health is delivered.
What you’ll do
- Deliver high-quality clinical exercise physiology across health, disability and rehabilitation contexts, working across funding schemes so people get the care they need regardless of funder.
- Develop and lead tailored care and treatment plans that build independence, confidence and quality of life.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team while owning your own clinical identity and caseload.
- Contribute to a practice that’s actively expanding the role of AEPs in the Australian health system.
