Administration Assistant (Part time 14 hours per week)

The Anglican Diocese of Bunbury is seeking a highly organised and motivated Administration Assistant, who is sympathetic to the Christian ethos and values of the Diocese.

This varied and rewarding role provides essential administrative and operational support across a wide range of diocesan activities, including assisting with events, clergy and lay retreats, communications, property administration, and general office operations. You will play an important role in supporting the mission and ministry of the Diocese while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Diocesan Office.

This is a part time role (14 hours per week), working Monday to Thursday between the hours of 9am - 12:30pm.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include

- Responding to general enquiries and providing office administration support.

- Assisting with property administration matters, including leases, maintenance requests, sales and parish property enquiries.

- Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of the annual events including Synod.

- Preparing documentation and resources for events, retreats and conferences.

- Providing administrative support for clergy retreats, conferences and lay retreats.

- Maintaining event schedules, timelines and checklists.





- Supporting diocesan communications, including the Prayer Diary, Diocesan Calendar, website and intranet.

- Supporting a range of diocesan projects and activities as they arise.

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the Diocese.

About you:

You will be an organised and proactive Administration Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and managing a diverse workload.

To be successful you will demonstrate:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities.

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.

- Strong customer service skills.

- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

- A proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- Integrity, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

- A positive and professional approach to work.
