Position: Administration Officer

Status: Part-time position (Monday to Wednesday) – 7.6 hours per day

Hourly rate: $40.58 per hour (inclusive of all allowances/loadings), plus super

Location: Kununurra, Western Australia 6743

As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming and professional reception environment for families, visitors and staff, while providing high-level administrative support to ensure compliance with legislative and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.

What You’ll Do

- Be the first point of contact, welcoming families and visitors with professionalism and warmth
- Manage phone calls, emails, and daily administrative tasks efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation meets compliance requirements
- Support Workplace Health & Safety processes and general service operations

Selection criteria

- Ability to understand and interpret legislative regulations and industry standards
- Ability to work autonomously
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Well-developed time management skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and developing efficiencies in service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and reflect
- Approachable, sensitive and a can-do attitude
- Understanding of and commitment to One Tree’s mission, values, and code of ethics

Requirements

- Eligible to work in Australia and live in Kununurra
- Current WA Working with Children Check
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Foundations of Child Safety Training Certificate
