We are seeking an experienced and reliable Agricultural Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a busy horticultural farm. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a modern fleet of agricultural machinery and play a key role in keeping our farming operations running efficiently.

About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and support daily farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, maintain, and repair tractors, harvesters, and other agricultural machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine faults.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns during peak production periods.
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Ensure machinery is operating safely and complies with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Order and manage spare parts and workshop consumables as required.
- Liaise with external servicing companies, as required.




- Work collaboratively with farm management and production teams.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Agricultural Mechanic.
- Experience working on agricultural machinery (preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Current driver's licence (HR licence and forklift licence are advantageous).
