The Opportunity We’re looking for an AI Architect to help enterprise clients responsibly design, deploy, and scale generative AI and agentic capabilities across Adobe Experience Cloud. This is a client-facing, technical advisory role—not hands-on model training or research—for someone who can blend deep architecture expertise with business acumen and executive presence. You’ll partner with Adobe consultants and client stakeholders to assess AI/LLM readiness, define governance and roadmaps, and guide the architecture behind RAG systems, AI agents, and LLM-powered features—all while building trusted‑advisor relationships that extend beyond a single project.
Responsibilities - Enterprise & AI Architecture: Serve as lead technical point of contact across multiple concurrent customer engagements; design enterprise architectures and roadmaps incorporating RAG, AI agents, and automated workflows; assess clients’ current architecture and AI/LLM readiness and identify gaps to their target state; align business strategy, IT roadmaps, and delivery teams building AI‑powered features.
- AI Governance, Risk & Quality: Define governance models covering data privacy, consent, access controls, and responsible‑AI guardrails; advise on evaluation frameworks for AI output quality, accuracy, cost, and latency; advise on AI security architecture, including prompt‑injection defenses; document reference architectures for RAG, agent orchestration, and LLM integration patterns.
- Advisory, Enablement & Communication: Engage marketers, analysts, developers, data scientists, and C‑level execs via workshops and deliverables; provide enablement and coaching on product features and AI optimization; translate LLM architecture concepts into explicit technical writing and executive presentations; manage expectations, scope, and timelines across engagements.
Qualifications - 10+ years in a client‑facing role with a track record building enterprise architecture models.
- Ability to translate business vision into technical architecture, including where GenAI drives real value.
- Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
- Experience with architecture frameworks (API‑first, SOA, TOGAF).
- Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, and Experience Cloud.
- Working knowledge of RAG, AI agents, and prompt engineering for accuracy, cost, and latency.
- Familiarity with an LLM orchestration framework (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
- Strong Python literacy and API design/integration fluency across LLM and cloud‑native services.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML, Java, REST, and services‑based architecture.
- Understanding of Azure and/or AWS, including native LLM offerings (Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock).
- Bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Nice to Have - Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
- Hands‑on experience building/reviewing AI agents, or LLM evaluation & observability tools (e.g., LangSmith, Datadog).
- Deep vertical industry experience (Retail, Media, Financial Services, High Tech).
- Relevant Adobe certifications (AEM, Adobe Analytics, Experience Platform Architect).
- Familiarity with consent/privacy platforms and regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
