ME Medical Recruitment is currently representing a prestigious chance for a Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist Anatomical Pathologist to join a leading hospital on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

This permanent full-time role (part-time considered) offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to high-quality diagnostic services across a state-wide network.

Position Highlights

- Location: Sunshine Coast, Queensland

- Employment Type: Permanent, full time (flexible hours considered)

- Remuneration: AUD $403,602 – $504,547 + generous allowances (motor vehicle, professional development, retention & attraction)

- Classification: L18–L27

- Closing Date: 26 August 2025

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver timely, productive, and high-quality Anatomical Pathology diagnostic and consultation services

- Participate in frozen section services, MDTs (onsite and remote), and after-hours on-call roster

- Maintain high professional standards and objectivity in clinical practice

- Support training, teaching,



research, and quality assurance initiatives

Essential Criteria

- Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent

- Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA

- Demonstrated expertise in Anatomical Pathology and commitment to clinical excellence

- Familiarity with ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements
