Our client is a Botany based Daycare and boarding facility which has Sydney’s largest outdoor and indoor play areas, caring for a great mix of dogs approximately 50-60 per day. They are an enrichment-based daycare and hotel, specialising in nurturing, engagement and specialist care whilst upholding the highest safety standards.

They are looking for a reliable enthusiastic Animal Attendant to join their pack.

Loving dogs is wonderful. It is not a qualification. This role requires relevant animal studies or experience.

What you will be doing

- Supervising group play and managing safe social interactions

- Reading canine body language in real time

- Intervening early and calmly when needed

- Maintaining high hygiene standards

- Feeding, cleaning and general care duties

- Communicating clearly with management and team members

Bonus if you:

- Have experience with small breed group play

- Have completed dog behaviour training courses

- Hold current First Aid (human and /or pet)

This is a permanent part-time role, working Wednesday to Friday, 10am–5pm, plus rotating Saturday shifts, 8.30am–4pm.

This role is based in Botany and is not easily accessible by public transport, therefore someone with their own car/ transport is a must!
