We are a structural steel fabrication and installation company delivering high-quality projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Boilermaker with a background in structural steel to join our team. We are looking for a 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year or fully qualified boilermaker.
About the Role
This is a hands-on opportunity for a motivated Boilermaker who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner. You'll be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of structural steel components, including beams, columns, and other steelwork, working from engineering and shop drawings. The role involves a combination of workshop fabrication and on-site installation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys varied work and being part of a skilled, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and assembly of structural steel components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and shop detail drawings
- MIG and Stick welding to a high standard
- Cutting,
grinding, drilling, and fitting structural components
- Operating workshop equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Assisting with in office installation when required
Essential Requirements
- Experience in structural steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High standard of welding and fabrication accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Solid commitment to workplace safety
- Current driver’s license
- Experience in site installation
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Forklift tickets
