About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Cabinet Maker to join our team. You’ll learn the trade from experienced cabinet makers while developing essential skills in a hands-on environment. This is your chance to work on exciting projects and build a solid career in the industry.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist qualified tradespeople in the construction and installation of cabinetry
- Read and interpret shop drawings (training provided)
- Safely operate hand and power tools (under supervision)
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Keep your work area clean and organised
- Attend trade school (TAFE/CIT) and complete all apprenticeship modules
- Assist with general workshop duties
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Interest in cabinet making and hands-on work
- Valuable communication skills and teamwork
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to the apprenticeship journey
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50kg (assisted)
- Basic mathematics and measurement skills
Preferred (Not Essential)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Driver’s licence
- Asbestos Awareness or Silica Awareness card
- Previous use of hand or power tools (personal or school-based)
