As our business continues to grow, we are seeking both an experienced Tradesman and an enthusiastic Apprentice Fabricator to join our team at Ormeau.
Position 1: Stainless Steel Tradesman
This opportunity is suited to a highly skilled fabricator who takes pride in producing exceptional work and is looking for a long-term career with leadership potential.
The Role
You will be involved in a diverse range of projects including:
- Premium outdoor BBQs and outdoor kitchen systems
- Commercial kitchen fabrication
- Architectural stainless steel fabrication
- Marine fabrication
- Custom-designed projects
- Site installations
- Production and bespoke manufacturing
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification in Fabrication/Welding (preferred)
- Strong TIG & MIG welding of stainless steel and alluminium
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor apprentices

Remuneration
A highly attractive remuneration package will be negotiated based on experience, skill level and capability. Exceptional rates are available for exceptional tradespeople who can demonstrate outstanding fabrication skills, productivity and leadership potential.
Position 2: Apprentice Stainless Steel Fabricator
We are seeking applications from:
- School leavers
- New starters looking to commence an apprenticeship
- 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices
This is an opportunity to learn a highly specialised trade within a company that manufactures everything from production components through to premium custom fabrication.
What You'll Learn
You'll gain exposure across a broad range of fabrication disciplines, including:
- Cookout BBQ manufacturing and assembly
- Outdoor kitchens and cabinetry
- Commercial kitchen fabrication
