ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Accountant, the Assistant Accountant play a key role in supporting the Finance team with the day-to-day accounting operations. Key duties:
· Raising invoices via CRM
· Data entry for supplier accounts in Xero
· Weekly creditor batch payments via Xero
· Reconcile bank, EFTPOS transactions
· Entering into Xero MBA credit cards (Co-ordinating receipts and tax invoices from cardholders)
· Prepare monthly Ageing Report (AR) and follow up outstanding debtors
· Process returned payments in MBAWA bank account. Creation of credit notes via Xero when required
· Assist with Fixed Asset Management
· Assisting the Accountant with monthly financial management reports
· Setup and maintain product codes between CRM and Xero
· Setup of instalment plan arrangements for members/clients in Bpoint
· Process payroll for Group Training Organisation (GTO)
