We're looking for an organised, proactive and passionate leader to join our leadership team.

About the Role

This is a unique leadership opportunity that offers the best of both worlds. You'll spend 50% of your time leading on the floor, supporting children, educators and curriculum, and 50% off the floor, working alongside the Centre Leader to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the service.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, has exceptional organisational skills, pays close attention to detail and wants to make a genuine impact on the quality of an already high-performing service.

Your Responsibilities

Educational Leadership

- Lead by example and model exceptional teaching practice.
- Mentor, coach and support educators to continuously improve.
- Support curriculum planning, critical reflection and educational documentation.
- Build strong relationships with children and families.
- Promote high quality supervision and engaging learning environments.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

Operational Leadership

- Support the Centre Leader with the day to day management of the service.
- Assist with staffing, room organisation and daily operations.




- Ensure documentation is accurate, organised and completed on time.
- Monitor compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Regulations.
- Support incident management, investigations and follow up actions.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement Plan implementation and continuous improvement.
- Help maintain the high standards expected of an Exceeding service.

About You

You'll be someone who:

Essential Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
- Current Working With Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and EYLF.
- Previous experience in a senior educator, educational leader or leadership role within early childhood education.
