About the business and the role

Summerland is a North Qld, family owned business, with stores in Cairns, Townsville and Rockhampton.

This position is specifically for our Rockhampton location.

Our stores have been built over the past 20 years by delivering a unique in store experience through amazing product and exceptional customer service.

We stock Australian labels like Bec & Bridge, Shona Joy, Kivari and Nude Lucy (to name a few) and manufacture our own in house brands Jaxx and D.N.C. made in Italy and Bali.

We are searching for positive, self motivated and dedicated Assistant Manager and casual Sales Assistants to join our expanding team. PPT and casual positions are available.

Responsibilities

- Maintaining a welcoming, organised store.

- Support the Store Manager to achieve the goals of the business.

- Build client relationships, provide outstanding service.

- Be motivated and driven to achieve sales goals.

- Maintain sales driven visual merchandising.

- Day to day store operations and reporting.

- Assist in training and supporting new and casual staff.

Skills and experience

We are looking for -

- Self driven people who love fashion, styling and providing customers with outstanding genuine customer service, and

- People who can positively influence customers, create a welcoming, friendly environment and be part of a team driven towards sales success.





- Adaptable and reliable staff who can work independently and as part of the team, have great communication skills and the motivation to achieve the stores goals.

- Candidates must have valid Australian work rights.

- Applicants must be 15 years of age or older to be considered for this position.

Skills and experience that are applicable;
- Daily store operations

- Exceptional customer service

- Fashion styling, customer and VIP management

- Ability to maintain merchandising standards

- Meeting sales and KPI targets

- High level of personal presentation

- Training new and existing casual staff.

Experience is preferred but not essential, we are looking for staff who are motivated, reliable and have a positive outlook on work and life. So if you are looking to change industry or are a seasoned retail star and believe you have applicable or transferable skills we want you to apply!
