Audio Visual Dynamics is looking for Audio Visual Technicians in Perth based at the Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough.

AVD is a highly successful corporate audio-visual company, with over thirty five years' experience. We have an on-site presence in venues nation-wide, namely Victoria, NSW and Western Australia. With a company-wide focus on service excellence, we maintain a clear edge over our competitors by consistently delivering client-focused results and developing new business.

We are now looking for casual AV Technicians to join our team in Scarborough, Perth for our peak season and going forwards.

The Role The AV Technician's key responsibilities are:

- Providing a service-oriented, "can do" approach to all tasks undertaken

- Capable of setting up, operating, and packing down AV equipment in the venue

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Demonstrable knowledge of all standard AV equipment, how it works, and how to connect

The successful candidate will have the chance to gain hands-on experience with industry standard technologies & expand upon their existing skillset in a fast-paced, professional environment, as well as working with the AVD Perth team to help us grow in WA.

The Person

We are looking for a career-oriented, self-motivated candidate who is a problem solver. Being in the Hospitality industry,



immaculate presentation is essential, as is a helpful and courteous manner. The successful candidate will excel in meeting regular deadlines that come with corporate event AV.

Minimum requirements also include

- Strong technical background in Corporate AV or a similar field

- Proven experience in a similar role

- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

- Problem solving / fault finding skills
- A thorough understanding of OH&S; obligations

- Computer skills – especially Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint)

- Capable of basic manual handling & working at height – an EWP ticket will be an advantage

- Articulate, motivated and confident

- Able to work to deadlines and establish goals

A minimum of 2 years in a role with a strong technical and hospitality background is ideal but we are open to other experiences.
