Facto is partnering with a large Australian Government regulatory agency to engage multiple Automation Testing professionals across varying levels of seniority. With several concurrent projects underway, the agency's testing capacity is stretched, and they need experienced automation testers to support timely project delivery and ongoing testing operations.

About the Team

You'll join a technology group responsible for delivering transformational change and key operational services across the agency — spanning IT, Cyber Security, Data, Digital, Portfolio Office, and business register modernisation. The team is undertaking significant transformation across data and analytics, cloud, mobility, and application modernisation, with a robust focus on data sharing and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Select appropriate testing approaches, including manual and automated testing




- Develop and execute test plans and test cases
- Implement scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks
- Collaborate across product, systems, and service design/development teams to enable comprehensive test coverage
- Identify improvements to requirements, design, or specification processes to increase testing effectiveness and efficiency
- Analyse and report on test activities, results, issues, and risks, including the work of others

Essential Skills & Experience

- Selenium framework with C#
- MS DevOps and CI/CD integration
- API interface automation tools
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Familiarity with MS CRM Dynamics or equivalent
- Fluent in Agile delivery methodology
- Fluent in test delivery methodology
- Adaptable in a dynamic project environment
