About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Bar Allrounder to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic club environment and appreciates the camaraderie of our ex-servicemen's community. Based in Aberdeen NSW 2336, this role will see you performing a variety of bar and beverage service duties, contributing to the smooth operation of our bar and ensuring our members and guests receive outstanding service.

As a casual position, you will have flexibility in your work schedule whilst being part of a close-knit hospitality team.

Key responsibilities

1. Preparing and serving a variety of beverages including beer, spirits, wine and non-alcoholic drinks
2. Operating cash registers and processing payments accurately and efficiently
3. Taking customer orders and providing knowledgeable recommendations
4. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar area
5. Restocking bar supplies and glassware as required
6. Providing friendly and professional customer service to all members and guests
7. Following responsible service of alcohol practices and club policies
8.



Assisting with basic food service where required
9. Supporting other team members during busy periods
10. Contributing to the general upkeep and presentation of the bar

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience working in a bar, pub or hospitality venue preferred, but not essential
2. Valid RSA & RCG
3. Robust communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
4. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
5. Experience operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash
6. Positive physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
7. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
8. A respectful attitude and genuine interest in serving our community and members
9. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
