We’re looking for an experienced and passionate hospitality skilled to become the face of T House at Jells.
This is not just another café job. You’ll play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences across our café, restaurant, events and functions while helping build one of Melbourne’s most exciting hospitality venues.
About the Role
As our Full-Time Barista / Bartender, you will:
- Prepare consistently high-quality coffee and espresso-based beverages.
- Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits and classic cocktails.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm and professional attitude.
- Open and close the venue.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked coffee and bar area.
- Manage beverage stock, ordering and daily inventory.
- Assist with functions, private events and weekend entertainment.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Work closely with management to continually improve service standards.
- Operate the POS system and process customer transactions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA and venue procedures.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a barista.
- Bartending experience with knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits.
- Current Victorian RSA certificate.
- Ability to produce consistently excellent coffee under pressure.
- Friendly, energetic and professional personality.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays when required.
