We are seeking experienced and passionate Behavioural Support Practitioners to join our client. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with delivering high quality, person centred behaviour support services that promote independence, inclusion and improved quality of life. Multiple locations including Tweed Heads, Gold Coast, Coffs Harbour, South side of Brisbane.

The successful candidates must be recognised as an Advanced Practitioner under the NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Capability Framework.

About the Role

As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement evidence based behaviour support strategies that uphold the rights, dignity and wellbeing of participants.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments using evidence based approaches.
- Develop, implement and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Work collaboratively with participants and their support networks to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Monitor participant progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with NDIS Practice Standards.
- Support the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices in line with legislative and best practice requirements.
- Maintain professional records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver coordinated supports.

Essential Criteria





- Current recognition as an Advanced Practitioner by the NDIS Commission under the Behaviour Support Practitioner Capability Framework.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Strong knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, and Restrictive Practices framework.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational, documentation and time management skills.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Check
